They reckon there are over 31,000 lochs in Scotland and we are blessed with some rather fine ones in our local area, particularly at Castle Kennedy gardens. This painting is my homage to those calm and still mornings where there's hardly a breath of wind and the glorious colours of Autumn trees are reflected in all their glory in still, deep waters.
The deep framing of this piece places the glass a good inch away from the picture, giving it wonderful clarity and depth.
